MIA PALMIERI
Architectural Designer II
Mia’s professional pursuit of architecture began early on as she completed an architecture summer program at UCLA, an internship at an architecture firm, and a year as a general contractor—all during high school. She went on to secure her Bachelor of Architecture at Cal Poly Pomona where she graduated with honors and was the proud recipient of multiple scholarships, including one from the American Association of University Women, and several from the North Coast Builders Exchange. During her college summer breaks, she completed two internships at a design firm in San Francisco.
She spent her early childhood in Santa Barbara before moving to Sonoma County, returning to the central coast frequently to visit family in the area. Her relentless passion for architecture and design brought her to some of the most beautiful places in the state, as well as overseas: during college Mia studied abroad in Florence, Italy for a year.
A natural creative, Mia is a trained dancer with a background in ballet, jazz, and three years on Cal Poly Pomona’s Broncettes dance team. Outside of a busy work schedule, she is always working on an artistic pursuit, whether crocheting, cooking, or reupholstering a chair.
